Applications

From a cost and performance perspective, our SCIP's are best utilized on any project where the following systems are under consideration:

1. Pre-cast concrete panels
2. Tilt-up concrete panels
3. Block walls that have an finished interior and exterior
4. ICF's
5. Formed and poured walls

These systems are expensive and do not combine insulation and thermal mass as in SCIP construction.

It is important to realize that our walls are a complete system; it encompasses the load bearing structure, the insulation, interior and exterior finishes. For residential applications, anyone building in a coastal area should seriously consider our system. All it takes is one strong hurricane to destroy an inferior wood-built structure.

Even military applications are an ideal use of our product. We are currently organizing a car- bomb test with our walls for force protection considerations.

In short, commercial, multi-family, schools, military and any coastal applications are most readily suited for our product. Our wall can be used competitively in single family residential applications as well, but the abovementioned applications are most readily adapted to our wall system.
